Calico Clark has had the good fortune to teach a range of grades both in BC and overseas. She is now the Literacy Coordinator for the qathet School District (School District 47).
One of her favourite parts of the job is working alongside teachers—whether they’re planning together or she is jumping into classrooms to teach or support small groups.
She was especially excited to model instructional routines to increase student engagement during UFLI lessons by focusing specifically on whole class choral responses and mini white boards. Calico also supported classroom teachers in to launch Think SRSD through professional learning, collaborative planning sessions and in class demonstration lessons!
